But my family started a black Catholic church under the dark of night in South Carolina and there is where my mother, who was half-Lebanese would come alive. I love going to African-American churches, though I don't go anymore. Thank you for the memories, Joe, for capturing the passion and the intention so very well. These are beautiful photos. I say that I will do so whenever I upgrade my MacBook Pro, but the old laptop keeps chugging along. I found your blog while looking for examples of direct flash vs. bounce flash. I saw that you posted your workflow so I thought I would check that out too. Thanks for sharing! I see this was written back in February of this year... have you upgraded to LR3 yet? I saw a few steps in your flow that can also be accomplished well in LR3 (Watermarks were improved, there's a GREAT plugin for uploading to Zenfolio, and Noise Reduction is vastly improved), there's also built in support for uploading to Facebook, but I haven't tried that feature at this point.
